What are part-time social work policy jobs?

Part-time social work policy jobs involve working fewer hours than full-time positions to influence, develop, analyze, or implement policies that impact social welfare and services. Professionals in these roles may work for government agencies, nonprofits, advocacy groups, or research organizations. They focus on areas such as healthcare, housing, child welfare, or mental health, often conducting research, writing reports, or advising on best practices. Additionally, it can sometimes be challenging to stay fully informed about ongoing projects or legislative updates with fewer weekly hours, making strong teamwork and regular check-ins essential.
