JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Works with the national and local marketing team members and regional leadership to develop and execute strategic and tactical social media that raise awareness, increase loyalty, and improve our customers experience at the individual asset level.
This role is responsible for creating and executing engaging social media content that enhances brand awareness and customer engagement at the property level. The Social Media Content Specialist partners with the Digital Marketing team and on-site teams to capture, produce, and publish high-quality visual content across digital platforms.
***This is a part-time position.

JOB DESCRIPTION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Travel to properties to capture high-quality photo and video content, serving as the primary on-site shooter and producer for all organic social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
  • Coordinate with on-site property staff prior to and during visits to schedule shoot times, identify key spaces and features to highlight, and ensure smooth access for uninterrupted content capture
  • Prepare for and execute on-site content shoots by following established shot lists, scheduling, and logistics, to maximize content output during each property visit and streamline travel as much as possible
  • Receive and following creative direction and briefs from Organic Social Media Territory Leader and/or manager
  • Shoot and edit compelling short-form video content optimized for Reels and TikTok, applying established guidelines for composition, lighting, pacing, and on-trend visual storytelling
  • Operate camera equipment, mobile devices, and stabilization tools (gimbals, tripods) to capture professional-grade footage and photography in a variety of property environments and lighting conditions
  • Edit video content end-to-end using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar, incorporating royalty free music, transitions, text overlays, and effects that align with current platform trends
  • Develop a strong visual identity across platforms by maintaining consistency in color grading, aesthetic, and style across all captured content
  • Upload content to appropriate technology platforms
  • Stay ahead of evolving video formats, trending audio, and platform-specific creative best practices to ensure content remains fresh and high-performing
  • Incorporate feedback from Organic Social Media Territory Leader and/or manager to continuously improve process and content
  • Accurately track and report hours worked and mileage in compliance with company policies
BASIC KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Portfolio of short-form video work (required)13 years of experience in social media content creation or related field
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, or related field preferred
  • Experience creating and editing short-form video content
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
SPECIALIZED SKILLS:
  • Strong capture craft across photo, video, and audio
  • Editing with strong pacing and hook craft
  • Proficiency with CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools
  • Ability to identify and apply social media trends
  • Experience with cameras and stabilization equipment
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Self-direction on site

The hourly range for this position is $35.00 - 45.00.

Additional Compensation:

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.

  • Corporate Positions:Inaddition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participateina quarterly or annual bonus program based onindividual and company performance.

  • Onsite Property Positions:Inaddition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participatein weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
