Job description

Craft & Crew

Part-Time Social Media & Community Assistant [Content Creator]

Summary:

Craft & Crew is seeking a creative, social-media-savvy Content Creator to capture and share the stories happening across our portfolio of (9) restaurants and concepts.

Unlike a traditional marketing position, this role is primarily focused on evenings and weekends when our restaurants are busiest and the best content opportunities happen. From packed patios and live music to feature launches and community events, you'll be responsible for capturing engaging photo and video content that brings our brands to life online.

This position requires one recurring daytime shift on Tuesdays to support monthly feature launches, content planning, and collaboration with the marketing team. Additional daytime hours may be scheduled during the final two weeks of each month to capture new menu features, seasonal promotions, and upcoming campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging, social-first content (photo, video, reels, stories, TikTok) across (9) Craft & Crew locations.
  • Capture content during peak business hours, including nights, weekends, events, happy hours, live music, community events, and promotional activations.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to execute content strategies and monthly marketing campaigns.
  • Capture monthly food and beverage features, seasonal promotions, and limited-time offerings.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining social media content calendars.
  • Schedule and publish social media content as assigned.
  • Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities to create relevant and engaging content.
  • Respond to comments and messages as assigned to help foster community engagement.
  • Collaborate with restaurant managers and team members to identify content opportunities.
  • Travel between Craft & Crew locations to capture content and support marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain a catalog of assets

Benefits:

  • $22 / Hour
  • Mileage reimbursement between locations
  • Free meal up to $20 every shift
  • Access to networking opportunities within the company and the hospitality industry

Hours:

  • Approximately 15 - 20 hours per week
  • Opportunity for additional hours based on business needs & content demands

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, media, or a related field (preferred, not required).
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and content formats.
  • Comfortable capturing and creating photo & video content in fast-paced environments.
  • Familiarity with content creation tools (Canva, CapCut, native platform editing tools, etc.).
  • Strong written communication skills with an ability to adapt to multiple brand voices.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage content across multiple locations.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the marketing team.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for engaging, scroll-stopping content.
