 Job Description

Responsible for the accurate shipment and tracking of books/media, as well as safe packaging, shipping, and tracking of a variety of collectibles.  Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Print and sort daily orders.
  • Pull items to be shipped when necessary.
  • Provide shipping quotes when requested.
  • Select appropriate box size and packaging materials to minimize DIM weight.
  • Ensure orders shipped are complete and correct. Notify eCommerce Supervisor of any damages or problems with shipment.
  • Package shipments in such a way as to minimize risk of damage.
  • Generate shipping labels and return labels.
  • Notify eCommerce Supervisor in a timely manner when any supplies are needed.
  • Take responsibility for safety and security of merchandise in assigned area; keep working area clean, neat and in safe condition.
  • Work independently with minimal instruction and/or direction from supervisor.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
 Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Previous shipping experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, such as Word and Outlook, as well as a basic understanding of computer software and hardware, required.
  • Must have ability to work independently with minimal instruction and/or direction.
 Additional Information
  • Beginning rate of pay is $12.00 per hour.
  • Part-time position.
