Join a team of mission-driven Behavior Technicians bringing ABA therapy to the children and schools that need it most. At VBA, you'll work 1:1 with students, help support their path forward, and build skills that will fuel your career in behavioral health - all while working a schedule you can count on.


Now hiring BTs to work in schools throughout Perris, Lake Elsinore, Menifee, Murrieta, and Temecula.


What you'll do:

  • Work 1:1 with children with special needs to build communication, self-help, social, and play skills
  • Implement behavior plans designed by BCBAs, adapting techniques to each student's needs
  • Track progress through behavior data collection and clinical notes
  • Attend ongoing training to sharpen your skills and grow your ABA career

Pay & Schedule

  • $20.00–$27.00/hour, plus paid drive time and mileage between sessions
  • Consistent, school-day hours (typically 7:30 AM–3:30 PM)
  • Part-time and full-time hours available; full-time starts at 30 hrs/week

Get certified while you work: We pay for your training and shadowing as you earn your Registered Behavior Technician (RBT®) certification, with direct support from BCBAs. Non-billable time, including training, is paid at prevailing minimum wage.


Experience working with children and/or disabilities is desirable, but not required. We hire experienced RBTs and those just entering the field. If you’re passionate about helping kids learn, we’ll give you the training and guidance to succeed.

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred); must be 18+
  • A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
  • Availability at least 3 weekdays, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM

If hired, you'll also need to be able to pass a Live Scan background check and TB test, as well as provide proof of MMR and TDap vaccination.
