Job description

JOB TITLE: MRI Tech, Part-Time
  • Schedule: Two 8-hour Shifts per Week, 16/wk
    • Choice between Day Shifts or Night Shifts:
      • Day Shift: Saturday & Sunday - 8 hours
      • Night Shift: Monday & Friday - 8 hours, possibility to add more hours during the week if desired
  • Start Date: Immediately
  • Contract End Date: 5/22/2027 with potential to be renewed
  • Pay: $50/hr
  • Facility: Hospital

Required Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT Certification
  • Current BLS (American Heart Association, American Red Cross, Military Training Network)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI scanners and select proper imaging protocols.
  • Screen patients for MRI safety, including implants, devices, and contraindications.
  • Educate patients about the MRI process and ensure comfort during scans.
  • Administer contrast materials when needed under physician direction.
  • Monitor image quality and adjust techniques for optimal results.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and detailed records.
  • Ensure proper functioning of MRI equipment and assist with maintenance.
