Part Time Scale Clerk - Fowler, IN
This is a Part-Time Hourly level position.
Shift - Varies on days - 7:30AM - 4:00PM
Position Summary: ADM is seeking a reliable, safety-minded worker to join our grain operations team in Swanington, IN. This position will assist in the daily functioning of the grain elevator by operating the scale house during business hours. The scale operator ensures the safe and efficient operations of weighing, grading, and data entry of inbound grain trucks. This is an office-type, controlled environment role.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Operate a computer to perform data entry
  • Operate a joystick to take grain samples from inbound trucks
  • Operate radios to communicate with truck drivers and grain elevator operators
  • Operate grain grading equipment
  • Answer phones and messages to make account changes
Requirements

Physical Requirements

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
