Your Role as the Health and Wellness Director
As the Health and Wellness Director, you'll lead the clinical team to ensure exceptional care for our residents. You'll oversee all nursing services, providing supervision and guidance while maintaining compliance with policies, regulations, and Americare's high standards. Collaborating with other departments, you'll manage assessments, care plans, and staff development, ensuring smooth operations. Your leadership will play a key role in fostering a safe, home-like environment while supporting the well-being of both residents and team members.
This role may also be known as:
LPN Director of Nursing, Assisted Living Nurse Manager, Memory Care Nurse Leader, Clinical Nurse Supervisor, or Wellness Director.
What You'll Do
  • Oversee the clinical supervision and administration of all nursing services.
  • Implement and maintain nursing objectives, standards, policies, and procedures, revising them as necessary.
  • Provide clinical guidance to nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other care team members.
  • Collaborate with community administrators to ensure all staff receive necessary orientation and training.
  • Conduct regular assessments of residents and ensure all required documentation is up-to-date.
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and Americare regulations.
  • Manage medication systems and ensure they meet regulatory guidelines and resident needs.
  • Play a key role in quality assurance by maintaining community standards, assisting with inspections, and upholding a safe, home-like environment for residents.

What You Bring

Physical Demands

  • Use safety equipment, including gait belts and mechanical lifts.
