Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Weekend Supervisor at Bell Minor Home in Gainesville, GA. As a Weekend Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to our residents and supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by our nursing assistants on Saturdays and Sundays. This is a part-time position (with the opportunity to pick up shifts) requiring a high level of professionalism, leadership, and organizational skills.

Essential Job Functions:

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants and ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Meet with nursing staff and support personnel to plan shift services, programs, and activities.
• Verify that all nursing personnel comply with written policies and procedures.
• Perform routine charting duties and maintain accurate and detailed documentation.
• Administer medication as ordered by the physician and maintain accurate medication records.
• Provide physical assessment, deliver care, and maintain optimal resident comfort.
• Respond promptly to call lights and other resident needs.
• Consult with physicians and review resident charts as necessary.
