PART TIME RESEARCH SCHOLAR
New York University Tandon School of Engineering
The Electrical and Computer Engineering at NYU Tandon School of Engineering is seeking to hire a Part-Time Research Scholar in Electrical Engineering to join an exciting project on "the use of AI to design hardware".

Expectations:
Candidates will have the unique opportunity to engage in original interdisciplinary research and take on a leadership role in ongoing projects. They will also have the intellectual freedom to pursue research activities of their choice within the scope of NYU's Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. The candidate will work closely with Professors Siddharth Garg and Ludovic Righetti on solutions to use RL-based solutions for optimizing hardware design.
Salary range:
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is $26.27 to $30 per hour depending on the candidate's experience and qualification. The position requires at least 27 hours per week.
Qualifications
  • MS (preferred) with expertise in Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Demonstrated program coordination experience, ideally in an academic setting.
  • Candidates must present proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
