Partnership Manager (Part-Time, Remote)

BlueTuskr

Toronto, ON • Remote

Part-time

Posted 24 days ago

Job description

Location: Remote (must be able to work normal EST working hours)

Compensation: $2,500/month base + commission + partnership bonuses | Year 1 total comp target: $45,000-$50,000

BlueTuskr is hiring a part-time Partnership Manager to grow and manage our agency partnership program. This is a remote, 20-hour-per-week role for someone with strong communication skills, sales instincts, and the relationship-building skills to manage executive-level partner relationships with SaaS companies and complementary service providers. Strong potential to grow into a full-time role within 6-12 months as the program scales.

About BlueTuskr

BlueTuskr is a full-service e-commerce marketing agency, and a proud winner of Amazon's Agency of the Year. We help DTC and Amazon brands grow through paid ads, email/SMS, and SEO. We're certified partners with Amazon, Walmart, Shopify Plus, Google, Meta, TikTok, Klaviyo, Omnisend, Pacvue, SEMrush, and Helium 10 - basically every platform that matters in our space.

Our partnership program is one of our most important growth channels. We have active partner relationships with SaaS companies, complementary agencies, and service providers across the e-commerce ecosystem who refer clients to us. We pay our partners 10% commission on closed deals for the life of the client, which is generous by industry standards and the reason our partners stay engaged. Many of these relationships are reciprocal: when our partners close deals from leads we send them, we earn commission too.

We have around 10 partners under formal agreement today, with about 5 actively sending leads. We have a long list of potential partners we haven't activated yet. This role exists to change that.

The Role

You will own our partnership program end-to-end. You'll grow it, manage it, and turn it into a meaningful revenue channel for BlueTuskr.

Reporting directly to our CEO to start, you'll be responsible for five things:

  1. Recruiting new partners. You'll identify potential partners (SaaS tools, complementary agencies, service providers in adjacent spaces), reach out to partnership decision-makers, run intro calls, and bring new partners into the program.
  2. Managing active partner relationships. Monthly or quarterly check-ins with each partner. Keeping them engaged, informed, and equipped with the materials they need to refer clients to us.
  3. Facilitating co-marketing. Joint webinars, shared blog content, dedicated email blasts, and co-branded case studies. You'll coordinate these initiatives between our partners and our internal marketing team.
  4. Connecting partner tools and services to our clients. When a partner offers something useful to our clients, you'll relay that information to our accounts team so we can extend value back through the channel.
  5. Managing reciprocal referrals to partners. Our partnerships are two-way - when we send leads to our partners, we expect to receive commission on those closed deals as well. You'll be responsible for tracking the leads we send out, following up to see if they closed, and ensuring we collect what we're owed.

This is a hybrid sales and relationship management role. You'll need to be comfortable both pitching the partnership program to new partners and maintaining warm, productive relationships with existing ones over time.

The Growth Path

This role starts at 20 hours per week. If the program grows the way we believe it can, this becomes a full-time role within 6-12 months - with a corresponding increase in base salary and an expanded scope. We have a strong belief that partnerships are one of our highest-leverage growth channels, and we are committed to investing in the person who can prove that out.

Requirements

Who We're Looking For

You have 2+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, account management, or a related role - ideally in a B2B SaaS, agency, or marketing services context.

You're a strong communicator. You can hold your own on a Zoom call with a VP of Partnerships at a SaaS company, write a professional follow-up email, and manage multiple partner relationships without dropping balls.

You're fluent in English (C1+ or native). Most of your interactions will be with US-based partners, often at the executive level. Your written and verbal English needs to be polished and professional.

You're proactive and self-directed. Nobody is going to micromanage your day. You'll be expected to set your own outreach cadence, manage your own pipeline of partners, and proactively surface opportunities.

You're organized. You'll be managing a growing list of partners in HubSpot, coordinating co-marketing campaigns, tracking outbound referrals, and managing commission payouts in both directions. Attention to detail matters.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Existing experience in e-commerce, DTC, or Amazon ecosystem
  • Background in SaaS partnerships or agency partnerships
  • Experience coordinating content collaborations

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build a target list of potential partners and run outbound outreach to recruit them into the program
  • Run discovery and intro calls with prospective partners
  • Onboard new partners and equip them with the assets they need to refer clients (one-pagers, case studies, co-branded materials)
  • Maintain regular check-ins with active partners (monthly or quarterly cadence)
  • Track partner activity, inbound lead flow, and commission payouts in HubSpot
  • Manage outbound referrals to partners and follow up on close status to collect commissions owed to BlueTuskr
  • Coordinate co-marketing initiatives - joint webinars, blog content, email campaigns - with our internal marketing team
  • Relay partner offerings to our accounts team so we can extend value to clients
  • Report to the CEO on program performance and growth opportunities

What You Bring

  • 2+ years in partnerships, business development, account management, or related B2B roles
  • Strong written and verbal English (C1+ or native)
  • Comfort with video calls and professional communication with US-based executives
  • Experience with HubSpot or a similar CRM
  • Self-directed work style and strong organizational skills
  • Available during standard EST business hours

Benefits

Compensation

  • Base salary: $2,500/month USD ($30,000/year) for 20 hours/week
  • Inbound commission: 3% of net revenue on partner-sourced closed deals, for the life of the client (while employed)
  • Outbound commission: 3% of any commissions BlueTuskr receives from partners when we refer leads that close (while employed)
  • New partnership bonuses
  • Year 1 total comp target: $45,000-$50,000 with realistic partnership activity
  • Year 2+ trajectory with growing residual book: $60,000-$75,000+
  • Full-time conversion potential within 6-12 months, depending on program performance

You're hired as an independent contractor. Payment is twice per month in USD.

What Else We Offer

  • Fully remote
  • Flexible schedule within EST business hours
  • Direct access to our CEO and leadership team
  • Full access to our case study library, partner network, and AI sales tools
  • A real path to full-time and a leadership role in a growing program
