JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The College of Arts and Architecture is seeking several talented and highly motivated students to join our information technology department for a summer internship opportunity. As an ArtsIT Team member, you will collaborate with colleagues to expand your expertise by working on tech-related projects and gain hands-on technology experience.
Job Duties:
  • Assist in maintaining specialized computer and printing studios across the college, including the Stuckeman School of Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Graphic Design, School of Visual Arts, School of Theater, and the School of Music.
  • Help to resolve day to day technical customer support issues.
  • Assist with imaging new computers for faculty and staff throughout the college.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
  • Candidate is comfortable working in a team environment, has great interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude.
  • Candidate should exhibit the ability to diagnose and resolve problems.
  • Experience with Windows OS, Mac OS, MS Office 365, and computer hardware.
  • Troubleshooting computer hardware and software skills are a plus.

These part-time positions begin immediately. Standard hours for the position will be Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with the possibility of evening and weekend work.
