Paralegal โ€“ Civil Litigation | Remote (Based in Florida)

Astor Simovitch Law | Boca Raton, FL | Part-Time- Fully Remote ***Needed : Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM ET ***Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Astor Simovitch Law is a growing, mission-driven civil litigation firm that helps families navigate the legal system to get their loved ones into treatment for substance abuse and mental health disorders. Our work is high-impact and life-changing, and we are looking for a compassionate and highly organized Paralegal to join our remote team.

What You'll Do

As a key team member, you will:

Serve as a main point of contact for clients, experts, and professionals.

Track deadlines and manage case timelines using digital tools.

Draft pleadings, motions, legal forms, reports, letters, and indexes.

Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings and managing caseloads.

Conduct legal research and summarize findings.

Maintain accurate digital records using Clio and other legal tech platforms.

Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of law firm experience, including at least 2 years in civil litigation.

Strong working knowledge of Florida courts and e-filing.

Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe, Zoom, and Clio (Grow + Manage).

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
