JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Pennsylvania State University, Lehigh Valleycampus,invites applications forapositionin the Criminal Justice degree program, to beginJanuary 2027.Thisadjunct opportunity has the potential foracontinuing appointment, as needed.


The preferred candidateshouldhave both practical work experience inthe Juvenile Justice systemand relevant teaching experience.Adjunct faculty are expected to teach specified course(s) as assigned,prepare course materials,and provide support and guidance tostudents.Theideal candidate willalsohave experience working with diverse student populations anddemonstratean interest infacilitatingstudent mentoring.

Theopen adjunct positionis forCRIMJ441,Juvenile Justice,15-weekcontract, on-campus,meeting Wednesday evenings.
Candidates must have a minimum ofamaster's degree in criminal justice or criminology (oraclosely related field).
