The Healing Mind and Soul Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team on a part-time basis. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide both individual and group therapy sessions remotely, ensuring accessibility and comfort for the children and families you support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on supporting children aged 3-20 who face developmental and intellectual disabilities (I/DD). You will work closely with their families to address a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges, fostering an environment of trust and support. Your contributions will play a critical role in enhancing the quality of life for these children and their families.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
  • An active and unrestricted LMFT license is essential in order to provide therapeutic services legally.
  • Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week, primarily during after-school hours of 4-7 pm, with some weekend flexibility being an asset.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience delivering positive behavior support methodologies.
  • Prior work with children between the ages of 3 and 20, particularly those with I/DD, is highly valued.
  • A valid driver’s license and a registered vehicle are necessary for potential travel to provide in-home services.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting.
