Job description

Practice Bodhi Medical Care is a comprehensive medical facility, offering specialized services across a wide range of disciplines. Our outpatient psychology team is seeking a full-time qualified social worker to join our practice to provide compassionate, evidence-based care via telemedicine. All psychology services are provided virtually and address a variety of mental health and interpersonal issues.

Full-time and Part-time positions available

Qualifications • Required Education: Master's Degree in Social Work • Required Licensure: LMSW (registered in NYS) • Required Experience: At least 1-year experience in providing psychotherapy and psychosocial, diagnostic, or intake assessments (pre or post grad) • Ability to work remotely

Responsibilities

• Participate in onboarding trainings; provide short and long-term individual therapy and mental health support to a diverse case load; maintain appropriate communication with community supports; provide crisis assessment and intervention as necessary. • Responsibilities may also include completing psychiatric intake assessments and client outreach. • Participate in weekly supervision and maintain contact with supervisor regarding any emergent or clinical issues outside of supervision hours. • Maintain licensure and professional development requirements throughout employment; practice in accordance with appropriate legal and ethical standards. • Maintain progress notes, formulate treatment plans, provide appropriate therapeutic interventions, and provide community resources when necessary.

Benefits

• Full time employees will receive a W-2 form for employment and are eligible to receive employment benefits through Bodhi Medical Center in accordance with NYS regulations (full details available). • Payment structure is productivity based. Employees receive 60% of every payment received for each clinical service. Average employee payment per clinical service hour is ~$78. This varies depending on the clinical service provided and the insurance or out of pocket payout for each patient. • Additional bonus applies for employees that exceed 120 clinical hours per month (~30 cases per week). • Clinical supervision provided by a NYS registered and qualified provider, in accordance with NYSED guidelines for clinical social work licensure applicants. • Additional benefits include, flexible work hours, ability to work remotely, ability to manage one's own schedule, and opportunities to work autonomously.
