Your role
Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Your day-to-day expectations
  • Provide services via the Televero Telehealth platform, both live and offline
  • Maintain a high quality of care consistent with the practice's goals
  • When not treating patients, assisting with, but not limited to, developing our behavioral health practice to include protocol development, training, and engaging in clinical behavioral health discussions with prospective clients
  • Prescribe medications and close out medication tickets in a timely manner
  • Take notes and assign billing codes within the EMR, including no-shows
  • Closeout documentation within twenty-four hours of the patient encounter
  • Review and interpret any patient assessments that we use in the practice
  • Attend monthly peer, supervisory, and educational meetings

Your workday
This position is 100% virtual.
We are open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm CST, Monday through Sunday.
This position is part-time from 16 up to 32 hours of patient time per week.
We will work with you to ensure a flexible schedule.
This role reports to Televero's Director of Nursing and a Pod Leader (Supervisory MD).
Experience to thrive
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work or related field.
  • Completion of CCNE-accredited Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) specialization.
  • Active PMHNP License in Texas and/or Washington.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience.
  • Two or more years of Telehealth experience.
  • Two or more years of Outpatient experience.
  • Two or more years of Prescribing experience.
  • Experience treating pediatric patients is preferred.
