Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with AI sales agents to identify, research, and prioritize prospective customers and partner opportunities.
  • Use AI-assisted workflows to create and maintain prospect lists, outreach drafts, meeting preparation notes, and follow-up summaries.
  • Support a goal of producing more than $2 million in qualified sales pipeline through consistent prospecting, follow-up, and opportunity tracking.
  • Use AI agents and internal source material to help draft, organize, and quality-check RFP responses, proposal content, and customer-facing answers.
  • Arrange introductory sales calls with potential new customers, including coordinating availability, preparing agendas, and tracking next steps.
  • Maintain basic sales activity records, pipeline notes, contact updates, and follow-up actions in the appropriate internal systems.
  • Manage website content updates, including posting approved copy, refreshing product or service pages, and coordinating edits with internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare and send the monthly newsletter, including collecting content, drafting copy, formatting updates, and coordinating review/approval before distribution.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and leadership stakeholders to ensure messaging is timely, accurate, and aligned with eScholar priorities.
  • Perform various ad hoc sales, marketing, and administrative responsibilities as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in sales support, business development, marketing coordination, customer outreach, proposal support, or a related role.
  • Comfortable using AI tools or AI agents to improve productivity, research prospects, draft communications, and organize repeatable workflows.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, polished, customer-ready content.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple outreach, RFP, website, newsletter, and follow-up activities at the same time.
  • Ability to coordinate meetings professionally with prospective customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Basic familiarity with website content updates, newsletter tools, CRM/pipeline tracking, or similar sales and marketing systems.
  • Attention to detail when reviewing AI-generated content, RFP responses, customer communications, and public-facing website/newsletter materials.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working independently in a part-time remote role.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with K-12, higher education, state education agencies, or education technology markets.
  • Experience supporting RFPs, proposals, public-sector purchasing processes, or procurement-focused sales cycles.
  • Experience with newsletters, website content management systems, email marketing platforms, CRM tools, or sales engagement tools.
  • Ability to turn technical or product information into concise, customer-friendly messaging.
  • Interest in helping define repeatable AI-enabled sales processes that improve reach, responsiveness, and pipeline creation.

Success Measures:

  • Contributes to more than $2 million in qualified sales pipeline through AI-supported prospecting, outreach, and follow-up.
