What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Part Time Remote Dental Professional, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Part Time Remote Dental Professional, you need a dental degree or certification, strong knowledge of dental procedures, and experience with patient care. Familiarity with teledentistry platforms, secure communication tools, and dental practice management software is typically required. Excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to build rapport virtually set top candidates apart. These skills ensure effective patient consultations, accurate records management, and high-quality care delivery in a remote setting.

What is the easiest part-time remote job to get?

Part-time remote dental roles, such as dental receptionists or administrative assistants, are generally easier to obtain with basic office skills and minimal certifications. These positions often require good communication skills and familiarity with scheduling software, making them accessible for many job seekers. However, the ease of securing such roles depends on individual experience and the employer's requirements.

What are some common challenges faced when working as a part-time remote dental professional?

One common challenge is maintaining effective communication with both patients and in-office staff, as remote roles often rely on phone calls, emails, or dental practice management software. Additionally, adapting to various technology platforms and ensuring patient privacy in a remote setting can require extra attention. Time management is also important, as part-time hours may mean balancing multiple tasks or practices. However, remote dental roles often offer flexibility and the ability to work from home, making them appealing for those seeking work-life balance.

Are there any remote jobs in the dental field?

Part-time remote dental jobs are available, often involving roles such as dental billing, telehealth consultations, or administrative support. These positions typically require relevant certifications, good communication skills, and familiarity with dental software or electronic health records. Remote dental jobs can offer flexible schedules while maintaining industry standards for confidentiality and accuracy.

Can a general dentist make $500,000 a year if I own my own business?

A general dentist who owns their own practice can potentially earn $500,000 or more annually, especially with a high patient volume, efficient practice management, and additional services like cosmetic or specialized procedures. However, income varies based on location, practice size, overhead costs, and experience, and reaching this level typically requires significant business skills and investment. Part-time remote dental roles generally do not offer such high earnings due to limited patient interaction and scope of work.

Job description

BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) - Part-time

$80110/hr Flexible Schedule Hybrid (Remote + In-person)

A rare opportunity to join a growing ABA practice as an early team member, with a real voice in shaping how we care for children and families - and the culture we build together.

The role is flexible from the start: come in part-time and grow into full-time if and when it works for you. You'll work closely with experienced clinical advisors, backed by a leadership team that's built and run ABA organizations before - real mentorship and support, not autonomy without a net.

What you'll do:

  • Carry and manage a client caseload, serving as the clinical standard-bearer for the organization
  • Own documentation quality, utilization reviews, and oversight of treatment plans
  • Supervise RBTs across active cases, ensuring treatment fidelity and consistent skill-building

What's different here:

  • Mentorship: work directly alongside our Clinical Team you'll be supported, not thrown in the deep end
  • Flexibility: start at 1020 hours/week and grow into full-time if and when it works for you
  • Reasonable workload: proper caseload sizing and RBT ratios from day one no heroics required
  • Mission: serve families who've been let down by fragmented, impersonal care

Compensation & Growth:

  • Base compensation ranges from $80-110 per hour, plus quarterly performance bonuses
  • $5,000 sign-on bonus

What you bring:

  • Active BCBA certification in good standing (Required)
  • Virginia BCBA licensure (Required)

    Benefits:

    • Health, dental, and vision from day one
    • 401(k) with matching
    • PTO that you'll actually use
    • Referral bonuses when you bring great people in
    • CEU support staying current matters here
    • Parental leave
    • MondayFriday daytime hours, no weekends
