Lincoln City has a great opportunity with the Parks and Recreation Department at the Community Center as a part-time Referee! This position performs general work acting as a Referee during youth indoor and outdoor soccer, basketball, or volleyball games sponsored by the Lincoln City Community Center.

Requirements
JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: High School or Junior High School education or equivalent supplemented by experience playing or refereeing soccer or any combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the above duties. Must have strong knowledge of the rules and plays involved in the game of soccer and the ability to apply that knowledge during a fast-moving game to make fair and decisive calls. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, respectfully, professionally and with confidence, including the ability to handle disagreements and the pressures of the game. Knowledge of safety and emergency procedures. Ability to maintain order and act as a leader and role model for youth. Must also have a flexible schedule and arrive early to ensure timely start of games and stay after games to participate in clean-up.
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS: Bilingual (English/Spanish).
