Overview

The scorers Table Crew Staff plays a vital role in the smooth operation of sports games by maintaining accurate records, managing the game clock, and assisting officials with scoring and administrative tasks. This position requires attention to detail, punctuality, and a solid understanding of the rules of the sports of Volleyball and Basketball.

This role pays an hourly rate of $25.00

Responsibilities
  • Record points scored, fouls, timeouts, and substitutions accurately.
  • Operate the game clock and scoreboard in coordination with referees.
  • Maintain the official game score sheet or digital scoring system.
  • Confirm scores with referees and coaches during breaks or disputes.
  • Ensure the scorers' table is set up before the game and cleared after.
  • Communicate clearly with referees, coaches, and other scorers.
  • Monitor player fouls and notify officials if disqualification limits are reached.
  • Stay focused and impartial throughout the event.
