Job description

Summary Under the supervision of the Specialized Enforcement Division Commander, this position is responsible for performing administrative and investigative work in the area of Red Light Enforcement. Job Duties and Responsibilities The following duties are normal for this position. The omission of specific statements of the duties does not exclude them from the classification if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification.

Reviews images of red light camera violations. Performs administrative and investigative work related to red light enforcement. Prepares documentation including packages with necessary information from Vendor and Postal Service for all court proceedings.

Act as a liaison between the City and our Traffic Camera Safety Program vendor. Attends court for evidence presentation which includes the preparation of the evidence. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree preferred. State of Florida Certification for Traffic Enforcement Officer.

Valid Florida Driver's License. A comparable amount of training or experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.
