Job description

Easterseals of Western and Central PA has provided services to individuals with different abilities for over 100 years and are proud of our history! We are looking for an energetic, part-time Recruitment and Onboarding Coordinator to assist our Human Resources department with bringing on new employees. The position is 20 hours per week and will become partially remote after the initial 30 day training period. The rate of pay is $20.00 and comes with Paid Time Off and eligibility to participate in our 403b retirement plan.
JOB SUMMARY
The Recruitment and Onboarding Coordinator is responsible for the start-to-finish of hiring new employees. This includes creating and posting ads all the way through to onboarding new employees in Paycom, our Payroll and our Human Resources Information System. The coordinator reports to the Vice President, Human Resources.
QUALIFICATIONS: Recruitment and Onboarding Coordinator:
  • Relevant education and recruitment experience, preferably 2 years in a similar position.
  • 2 years' experience working in a HRIS system/database, preferably Paycom.
  • Polished communication skills and professional demeanor to represent the agency. The position requires extensive email, phone and in-person communication. Zoom or Teams meetings may be necessary on occasion.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage the hiring process with multiple candidates at any one time
  • Acceptable Criminal Record Check required.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES R&O COORDINATOR INCLUDE:
1. Process employment requests made by hiring managers. Create ads if necessary; attach ads to requests and send to the Paycom Hiring dashboard. Post open positions through the Paycom Applicant Tracking system or occasionally on Indeed directly. Work with Indeed representative on any issues with postings. Revise ads per directions from Hiring Managers (HMs.) Take down outdated posting per HMs.
2. Perform background checks, education verifications, reference checks, set up physicals and TB screens on perspective candidates as directed by the HMs. Keep all new hire paperwork in an organized manner as this can involve multiple candidates at a time. Continual follow-up with candidates to keep them on top of their next tasks for completion.
3. Manage the onboarding process. Follow each candidate's Paycom Set Up form from the HM. Move the new hire through Paycom, send out Onboarding Parts 1 and 2.
4. Weekly check in with HMS. Are ads current or need changes/updates? Any resignations/new openings? Any propspective new hires to start onboarding?
5. Collecting all new candidate information from the HM. This is due 1 week after hire.
6. Create new positions, and or positions seats in Paycom as needed.
BENEFITS
  • The Recruitment and Onboarding Coordinator's work hours are Monday - Friday, 4 hour days with some flexibility. For the initial 30 day training period, the proposed hours are 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m onsite in Greentree. The position is 20 hours per week. The rate of pay is $20.00. The hours can be flexible after the one training period is completed.
