As a BehavioralTechnician I, you willassistin the daily operations of our recovery services, ensuring that clients receive the care and support they need. You will work closely with the treatment team tomonitorclient progress, document behaviors, andfacilitateeducational and recreational activities. Key Responsibilities:
Ensure adherence to program expectations and rules, reporting behaviors to supervisors toassistwith therapeutic interventions.
Participateactively in the treatment team,identifyingclients' strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences.
Document and report exceptional behaviors and areas of concern during shift changes and in client records.
Assistin the admission and orientation process, including obtaining vital signs and conducting safety searches.
Coordinate incoming calls and respond to crisissituationsas necessary.
Educate andassistclients in performing daily activities as needed.
Monitorclient activities and document relevant behaviors, including bed checks during overnight shifts.
Ensure all clients are accounted for and that precaution protocols are followed.
Facilitateeducation or recreation groups as scheduled.
Adhere to medication policies and collaborate with nursing staff to ensure compliance.
Provide transportation for clients as needed.
Maintaina standard of behavior consistent with agency expectations and program philosophy.
Complete all mandatorytrainingswithin requiredtime frames.
Attend staff and treatment team meetings asrequested.
Screen andmonitordetoxification clients to ensure safety and recovery needs are met.

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
High School education or equivalent with two (2) years of responsible employment history;
OR Exceptions to the qualifications listed may be made by theappropriate ExecutiveTeam member.
Bachelor's Degree OR MAADC I or II for St. Louis County Programs.

Additional Qualifications:
Must provide evidence of being free from infectious and contagious diseases, such as TB, prior to beginning employment and annually thereafter.
Successful completion of background checks, including criminal record, driving record, and abuse/neglect.
Completion of New Hire Orientation within30 daysof employment.
First Aid and CPR certifications within three (3) months of beginning employment.
Valid Driver's license in state of residency with an acceptable driving record isrequired.
Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age tooperatea company-owned vehicle.
Must be at least twenty-three (23) years of age tooperatea company-owned fifteen (15) passenger van.

Physical Requirements:
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of forcefrequentlyto lift, carry, push, or pull objects, including the human body.
Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing arerequiredonly occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
