Job Summary
The Diagnostic Imaging Reading Room Assistant is responsible for the workflow and the liaison for the Radiologist located in the reading room. The incumbent monitors paperless workflow system for requisitions, and performs other job-related duties as requested.
Duties & Responsibilities
Greet and receive visitors to the department.Monitors paperless workflow for mammography.Acts as a liaison for the Radiologist with all modalities, hospital units and physiciansPreserves and protects patient rights to confidentiality.Performs other duties as required or requested.Performs other duties as required or requested.
Requirements
Graduation from high school required; training in general office procedures and operation of standard office machines and equipment, including basic knowledge of computers. Must be able to organize own work load and perform job responsibilities in an area where there are noisy conditions with frequent interruptions from visitors. Proficiency in the English language required.
