Water/Wastewater Civil Engineer (Multiple Positions) (Stantec Consulting Services Inc.; Bellevue, WA): Apply civil engineering principles for new and existing water, recycled water, wastewater, and conveyance projects. Develop and prepare reports, planning studies, specifications, detailed design drawings, construction submittal reviews calculations, models (e.g., treatment process and process control models), and other technical deliverables for treatment, conveyance, and infrastructure-related projects. Conduct treatment process evaluations supported by field assessment and targeted water quality sampling. Supervise project teams in planning and/or designing engineering projects/tasks and coordinate special planning and engineering studies. Direct the work of project engineers, including other disciplines such as drafters, designers, and other engineers. Delegate and oversee the work of technical and supporting staff. Provide consultation in specialized areas such as water/wastewater treatment, make decisions, and solve problems. Prepare presentations to clients and for professional meetings. Coordinate with clients on projects during planning, design, and construction. Participate in project coordination meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants, owner and contractor, subcontractors, and vendors. Assist with business development and project pursuits. 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.). Salary range is $131,373 - $155,500 per year. The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, & work location. #LI-DNI #GTM

Requirements:
Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field, and 6 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field, and 8 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 6 years of experience with the following: Biowin, SIMBA#, SUMO, or GPS-X modeling tools; Preparing engineering studies and designs for water/wastewater treatment and infrastructure projects; and Conducting modeling, evaluations, and planning for water/wastewater treatment process design including process control simulations and analysis.
Of the required experience, must have 4 years of experience with the following: MATLAB or Python.
Must have an active U.S. Professional Engineer license.
Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days a week.
Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 10%.
Travel to various international locations required up to 5%.
