Job description

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The JKL Program Manager is responsible for delivering the JKL program with fidelity and maintaining a safe, positive environment for all youth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential Job Responsibilities):

  • Deliver the JKL program with fidelity.

  • Recruit youth to participate in the JKL program.

  • Register JKL participants as BGCAA Club Members.

  • Shares program attendance information with BGCAA as requested.

  • Completes mandatory BGCAA Safety training.?

  • Assist with ensuring that BGCAA rules and policies are implemented.

  • Maintains a professional and role-model persona.

  • Spend budget within program limits. Make and record purchases in accordance with BGCAA standards.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the program area.

  • Will be offered shuttle training to drive BGCAA shuttles.

HOURS:

School time: Part time hours (up to 29 hours a week) during the school year

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Must pass background check, reference check, and drug test

  • Must be able to work and interact professionally

  • Proficient with computer equipment

  • Must be dependable

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate degree in education or related field preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Must be available to work onsite

  • Preferred ability to stand for long periods of time

  • Preferred ability to work in various weather conditions-hot, cold, rainy, etc

  • Preferred ability to move supplies up to 25 pounds
