Our mission is to provide forward-thinking career coaching and immersion opportunities driven by the student's passions and talents in a fun, structured, and high-energy environment. Passion for Life was created to be a high-energy and engaging process that helps students identify their passions and gain clarity on how to utilize their core strengths and talents to select a career.
Who you are
We're looking for a highly organized and creative Educational Programs Manager (volunteer). In this role the primary responsibility is to oversee the organization and delivery of all educational programs as Passion For Life, such as workshops, summer camps and online programs. This is achieved by leading and coordinating efforts with Career Coaches and the Instructional Design team, monitoring, scheduling and overseeing a team of Program Coordinators.
This role blends big-picture thinking with hands-on execution to grow our community, improve efficiency and effectiveness of the programs delivery. This position assists with the planning and implementation of the overall program goals. This is an unpaid volunteer role in a hybrid mode (remote and on-site in Atlanta, GA), part-time flexible hours.

Your role
  • Lead your Team of dedicated Program Coordinators and collaborate closely with the Instructional Design Team
  • Overseeing and managing Passion for Life programs, including workshops and summer camps.
  • Leading and coordinating efforts with career coaches and training coordinators to ensure smooth execution of programs.
  • Developing and implementing program goals, objectives, and strategies to ensure alignment with the organization's mission and vision.
  • Managing program schedules, timelines, and milestones to ensure that programs are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, including funders, community partners, and program participants.
  • Providing regular program updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensuring that program data is collected and analyzed to inform program improvements and decision-making.
  • Developing and implementing program evaluation strategies to assess program effectiveness and impact.
  • Providing support and guidance to program participants as needed.
  • Collaborating with other departments within the organization to ensure that programs are aligned with broader organizational goals and objectives.

Your skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Counselling, Curriculum Design, or in a related filed (or graduating)
  • Experience in organizing workshops, professional training, community outreach is a plus
  • Ability to manage a team in a friendly and efficient way
  • High energy, self-starter, highly motivated with high-degree of flexibility
  • Ability to volunteer in a hybrid setting (90% remote with some occasional travel to a workshop location)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present ideas and information clearly
  • Extreme attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills
  • Great time management skills with the ability to pay attention to detail
  • Knowledge of non-profit and educational programs a plus
