Job description

After Care Program Team Member - Notre Dame of De Pere
Notre Dame of De Pere Catholic School in Partnership with St. Francis Xavier and St. Mary Catholic Churches, De Pere is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic After Care Program Team Member to join our after-school program. This part-time position provides a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for students after school while supporting the mission and values of Catholic education.
Schedule: 6-10 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during the academic year, 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise students during after-school hours.
  • Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, games, and crafts.
  • Assist students with homework as needed.
  • Prepare and serve snacks.
  • Supervise indoor and outdoor play, including playground activities.
  • Promote positive behavior and respectful interactions among students.
  • Maintain attendance and sign-in/sign-out records.
  • Ensure student safety and compliance with program policies.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and program leadership.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.

Qualifications
  • Experience working with children in a school, daycare, childcare, camp, or similar setting preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
  • Successful completion of required background checks and Safe Environment/VIRTUS training.
  • Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education.
