This contract position is part-time with an in-person focus at a charter school, spanning from August 10 through May 21, 2027. Desired Qualifications:
- Nevada licensure as a Physical Therapist, or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start date.
- Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare settings serving students ages 3–14.
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and development of treatment strategies in coordination with educators and families.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, staff, and families.
- Commitment to delivering services exclusively in person.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess student needs and develop treatment plans tailored to support mobility, motor skills, and independence.
- Provide direct therapy sessions for students in grades PreK-8th within a charter school setting.
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment.
- Monitor progress, update documentation, and participate in IEP meetings as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain compliance with all state, district, and professional standards.
