Job description

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting PreK-8th grade students as a Physical Therapist in the Las Vegas area. This contract position is part-time with an in-person focus at a charter school, spanning from August 10 through May 21, 2027. Your expertise will make a genuine difference in the lives of young learners by helping them achieve their physical and developmental milestones within a supportive educational environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Nevada licensure as a Physical Therapist, or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start date.
  • Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare settings serving students ages 3–14.
  • Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and development of treatment strategies in coordination with educators and families.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, staff, and families.
  • Commitment to delivering services exclusively in person.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess student needs and develop treatment plans tailored to support mobility, motor skills, and independence.
  • Provide direct therapy sessions for students in grades PreK-8th within a charter school setting.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment.
  • Monitor progress, update documentation, and participate in IEP meetings as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Maintain compliance with all state, district, and professional standards.
