Job Title: Private School Speech-Language Pathologist

Strides Therapy & Educational Services is a leading local provider of contract therapy services dedicated to enhancing the educational experience of students in schools. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team of professionals, working collaboratively to support students' communication and language development within educational settings. We are a therapist and woman-owned and operated company.

Position Overview:

As a School-Based Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping students overcome communication challenges, improve their speech and language skills, and achieve their educational goals. Your expertise will be essential in promoting students' overall success and well-being in the school environment.

  • Additional Details: part-time; private school up to 20 hours per week; K-high school
    • Students have a variety of dx but include ASD, ID, ED, multiple disabilities

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.

  • Michigan licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. (if applicable)

  • Educator Certificate (if applicable)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC SLP) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.

  • Experience in pediatric or school-based speech-language pathology is highly desirable.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, educators, and support staff.

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload.

  • Dedication to providing culturally competent and student-centered care.
