Job Summary/Purpose:
The Church Planter Residency exists to raise up apostolic leaders who will plant, grow, andmultiply vibrant microchurches rooted in the mission and values of Greenhouse Church. Thisposition would be an 18-month tenure.


This full-time, temporary role blends hands-on ministry, intentional coaching, and strategicleadership development. Residents will be immersed in Greenhouse DNA, actively leadmicrochurches, develop future leaders, as well as shadow Greenhouse pastors in their pastoralpositions.


The purpose of this position is to aid in advancing the Greenhouse Church mission and vision within the microchurch ministry by launching, leading, coaching, and multiplying disciple-makers as well as being prepared to plant a church in Florida after the residency iscompleted.


Our dream is not just to fill pulpits but to flood cities in Florida with vibrant expressions of Jesus-following communities; microchurches that live loud, love deeply, and multiply naturally. If thislights your soul on fire, this might be the right place.


Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Microchurch Leadership & Multiplication
Launch and lead a multiplying microchurch that embodies the key elements of worship,
mission, community, and multiplication
Apprentice emerging leaders within the microchurch context
Implement and model obedience-based discipleship through Discovery Bible Studies
and Inductive Bible studies within the microchurch framework
Coach and multiply microchurches across the network
Equip others to lead through being a coach semesterly in Discipleship Training
Help to cultivate a culture of radical prayer (e.g. help substantially increased prayer
activity in the microchurches you are coaching), biblical literacy, and Holy Spirit
dependence within our microchurch structure
Identify, invest in, and release high-potential leaders within their microchurch and the
broader Greenhouse church and network
Be able to evangelize, win souls, and add lost people to your microchurch
Participate in bi-weekly huddles to sharpen leadership and multiplication strategies


2. Pastoral Shadowing/Training Duties
Support Sunday gatherings through assimilation, congregational care, and stage
communication when called upon
Assist with baptisms, communion, follow-up systems, and ministry team development
Serve as an on-call presence as needed (hospital visits, crisis care, weddings, funerals,
etc.)
Be available to assist with any other shepherding needs that arise within the church


3. Greenhouse DNA & Leadership Training
Complete the intentional learning tracks around Greenhouse values, systems, and
ecclesiology
Participate in staff meetings, prayer gatherings, and staff development
Successfully complete the formal immersion process under the Executive Pastor of
Strategy and Discipleship, including but not limited to certain Greenhouse School of
Ministry classes, fluencies, microchurch strategies, etc.
Receive ongoing feedback and development from Pastor Mike and the executive staff ona monthly basis


4. Sermon Prep & Communication Development
Participate in collaborative sermon prep with Pastor Mike and teaching team
Learn the craft of expository preaching and contextual teaching
Practice delivering sermons in various formats with constructive feedback in various
ministries, including Kids, Youth (Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings), and Sunday
services


5. Personal Development

Complete the Stadia Discovery Process to clarify calling, wiring, and church planting
readiness
Complete the Gospel Coach Training through the Center for Mission Mobilization (CMM)
to grow in relational, Spirit-led coaching
Engage in personal rhythms of prayer, Sabbath, and reflection to sustain long-term
ministry
Regularly meet with an executive pastor for mentoring and coaching for spiritual healthand growth. Participate in quarterly reviews to assess progress in the aforementionedareas.
Must be willing to become at least certified through the Assemblies of God.

Work environment: Office


Physical demands:
Able to lift up to 50 pounds and move furniture
Travel required: Minimal in initial phases of residency with the potential for moderate travel inthe second part of the residency to our other campuses.


Time requirement: 40 hours weekly


Required Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 8am-5pm. Any changes in schedule to be pre-approved by Executive Pastor of Strategy and Discipleship

Desired Skills and Abilities
A strong evangelistic and apostolic drive as measured by personal fruit in reaching thelost, soul-winning, and apostolic start-ups that can be directly tied back to the applicant.
Experience in coaching or leading leaders
Biblical or theological training
Experience preaching or public speaking
Humble and teachable
A desire to plant a church or multiply microchurches long-term


Preferred education and experience
College Degree or Equivalent
Knowledge of Greenhouse Church Core Values and Ecclesiology
Must excel in this position and have an excellent 90 day evaluation
Must have a strong recommendation from Stadia regarding church planter readiness
