Requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate clients to assess their eligibility for physical therapy services
  • Develop and adapt individualized treatment plans tailored to the clientโ€™s unique needs and goals
  • Implement interventions designed to maximize gross motor skills, functional mobility, and independence
  • Teach clients new ways of approaching tasks, breaking activities into manageable components
  • Recommend and train clients in the use of adaptive equipment as necessary
  • Educate family members and caregivers on exercises, techniques, and care strategies
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with clinic policies and deadlines
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients, their families, and other team members

Skills Required:

  • Proven experience as a Physical Therapist (or completion of clinical experience)
  • Strong critical thinking skills with a flexible, growth-oriented mindset
  • In-depth knowledge of PT principles and practices
  • Familiarity with physical therapy assessments and Medicaid guidelines
  • Ability to work with diverse patient personalities and care needs
  • Continuous drive to learn and stay current with new treatment practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Valid PT license - or anticipated licensure date
  • Graduate degree or higher in occupational therapy
