Fathom Plumbing Solutions is seeking a dedicated part-time Plumbing Customer Service Rep to join our team in Ann Arbor, MI. This in-office, part-time position offers an hourly wage ranging from $18 to $28, depending on experience and skills.

THE GROWTH YOU HELP PROVIDE AS A PLUMBING CUSTOMER SERVICE REP

This is a part-time role, with shifts scheduled during business hours, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. All work is performed in our Ann Arbor, MI office.


In this position, you will be responsible for answering inbound calls and web inquiries, capturing job details accurately, and providing information about our services to customers. You will coordinate a two-week forward-looking schedule and dispatch technicians based on priority, location, and expertise. Daily tasks include communicating schedule changes to the field team, entering jobs and maintaining detailed notes within ServiceTitan, following up on estimates, assisting with invoices and QuickBooks coordination, and tracking key operational metrics. You will play an essential role in supporting both our customers and our field team.


OUR IDEAL PLUMBING CUSTOMER SERVICE REP

  • CSR, dispatch, or administrative experience (home services a plus)
  • Friendly, outgoing, and positive attitude
  • Detail-oriented and an active listener
  • Ability to follow a call script and capture key customer/job information
  • Strong, calm, and confident phone presence
  • High accountability, strong organization, and multitasking skills under pressure

Preferred:

  • Proficiency with technology; ServiceTitan and Google Suite preferred
  • Experience in residential home services (plumbing, HVAC, electrical)
  • Familiarity with membership/maintenance agreement sales
  • Comfortable handling inbound call volume without relying on a script
