Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Plumber to join our growing plumbing division. This role is responsible for performing high-quality plumbing installations, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting services for residential and commercial clients.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, customer-focused, and takes pride in delivering professional workmanship. This position plays a key role in supporting the continued growth of our plumbing division while upholding the quality and service standards Lakeside Pro Services is known for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance on residential and commercial systems
  • Install, repair, and service pipes, fixtures, drains, water heaters (tank and tankless), sump pumps, and related equipment
  • Replace or repair sewer lines, water lines, and plumbing fixtures
  • Diagnose plumbing issues and perform efficient troubleshooting and repair solutions
  • Conduct leak detection and implement effective corrective actions
  • Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections to ensure reliability and efficiency
  • Service and maintain drainage, water supply, and wastewater systems
  • Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes, safety standards, and company procedures
  • Maintain accurate documentation including job notes, material usage, inspections, and service records
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding system issues, repair options, and recommendations
  • Collaborate with dispatch, field technicians, and leadership to coordinate scheduling and project completion
  • Support and mentor less experienced team members when applicable
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in clean and working condition
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while representing the company professionally at all times

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of plumbing experience
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, installation methods, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Familiarity with local plumbing codes and safety regulations
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to perform physical labor and work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Michigan Journeyman or Master Plumber License
  • Backflow certification
  • Experience with ServiceTitan or similar service management software
  • Experience in both residential and commercial plumbing
  • Leadership, training, or mentoring experience
  • Experience with sewer, drain, and water line replacement projects
