Looking for a part-time position that keeps you productive, engaged, and connected — without taking over your entire day? Thelen Auto Group is hiring a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Part-Time Phone Operator to join our team!

This schedule is ideal for:

  • Parents with school-aged children who want to work while the kids are in school
  • College students looking for steady daytime hours
  • Anyone seeking extra income while maintaining flexibility and work-life balance

Schedule

Monday through Friday | 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
No late evenings. Enjoy your afternoons free!
Rotational Saturday | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

What You’ll Do

  • Professionally answer and direct inbound calls using a multi-line phone system
  • Assist customers and provide exceptional customer service on every call and online inquiry
  • Complete, respond to, and assign internet leads across the dealership group
  • Perform outbound service follow-up calls
  • Support vehicle photo operations, including photo editing and website uploads
  • Help maintain accurate and organized customer databases
  • Work across multiple systems and screens efficiently while maintaining accuracy
  • Assist with additional administrative and customer support tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Positive attitude with strong communication and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task effectively while maintaining accuracy
  • Comfortable talking on the phone while typing and navigating multiple computer systems
  • Excellent phone etiquette and professional communication skills
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • 1+ year of customer service experience preferred
  • Experience with multi-line phones, CRM systems, or photo editing is a plus — but we are willing to train the right person!
  • Ability to sit at a computer and work on the phone for extended periods
  • Availability Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays required
  • Previous customer service or phone experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person!
