United Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a nursing job in Johnson City, New York.

United Health Services, the largest and most comprehensive provider of healthcare services in upstate New York's Southern Tier, is hiring Staff Registered Nurses for our PACU team at UHS Wilson Medical Center. PACU is a very fast-paced and collaborative environment working with a wide variety of patients. PACU thrives on the rewarding feeling of working together as a team to manage patients' pain and see them improve rapidly! Part Time, 24 hour Night Rotation Schedule: 8 hour shifts; weekends and holidays are on call

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:

  • A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing
  • Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting


License/Certification

Minimum Required:

  • Current New York State Registered Nurse License.

Preferred:

  • CCRN
  • Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned.

Work Environment

  • Work is performed in an office environment and patient care areas which require working in proximity to other employees and patients. Rooms are air conditioned and heated.
  • Frequent walking, standing, bending and lifting.
  • Fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Exposure to equipment cleaning solutions and disinfectants.
  • PPE (Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, and Gloves) as required by UHS Hospitals Infection Control policies.
