Job description

Harrison County Hospital is seeking to hire an Outpatient Registered Nurse Part Time.

This position is parttime, days, Monday through Friday 8a-4:30p, 8-16 hours per week.

Under the supervision of the OPN Manager, this position is responsible for coordinating the care of all patients in the Outpatient Nursing Department. This position is responsible for meeting the established standards of nursing practice, for managing all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment in OPN and for promoting teamwork with physicians and other department personnel.

SKILLS:

  • Extremely organized.
  • Previous out-patient surgery experience preferred.
  • Ability to perform IV starts and maintenance.
  • Ability to accurately monitor cardiac rhythms.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Graduate of an accredited college of nursing
  • Current RN Licensure in the State of Indiana
  • Previous Ambulatory Care and/or Out-Patient Surgery experience preferred.
