Certified Nurse Assistant - Part-Time

Position Details:

  • Full Time
  • Pay range: $16 - $19.08 (depending on experience)
  • Mileage reimbursement available based on distance 
  • $5,000 Sign-On Bonus with an 18-month commitment

Job Summary:

  • The Certified Nursing Assistant performs routine duties within the limits of training and certification in caring for the hospitalized patient.
  • The care is rendered under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Performs other duties related to the work described herein.
  • The CNA may also perform clerical, receptionist, and transport duties in accordance with missions, goals, and objectives of Mesa View Regional Hospital.
  • Facilitates the information and activity flow to and from the nursing unit.
  • Performs registration duties as assigned.
  • Responsible to answer phones, take messages, make phone calls, fax orders, order entry, etc.
  • Assists with scheduling and billing for infusion patients.
  • Have good customer service, computer and organizational skills.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Completion of a state-approved training program.
  • NV State Nursing Assistant Certification.
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to think and work independently and with direction.
  • Communicate with staff members in a fast-paced environment.
