Academic Coordinator I in Stem Cell Research
The Department of Molecular Cell and Systems Biology at the University of California, Riverside anticipates openings for appointments in the Academic Coordinator I.
The Stem Cell Center at the University of California, Riverside, invites applications for an Academic Coordinator position in our Stem Cell Core Facility. This full-time, fiscal-year position is initially for one year, with possibility of reappointment contingent on funding.
Candidates must have a PhD in the life sciences with training in stem cell biology. Experience in pluripotent stem cell culture is required. Successful candidates will have at least 2 years of experience in cell culture.
Appointments may be made on a full-time, part-time, or without-salary basis. Initial appointments are typically for one year, with the possibility of renewal. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. The current base pay range for this position is $66,798 to $127,163.
Basic qualifications required at the time of application include an earned Ph.D degree in Life Sciences or a related field, administrative experience, experience with stem cell culture and evaluation, experience in teaching stem cell culture, familiarity with the operation of equipment used in stem cell research, such as flow optometry, light microscopy and live cell imaging.
