Job description

Join Our Team: Optometric Technician/Receptionist 

We are looking for a friendly, dependable person to join our team at our growing private optometry practice in southeast Chandler. If you enjoy helping people, have a positive attitude, and interested in building relationships with patients, we would love to meet you.
Our office uses the latest technology and offers high-quality products, but what really sets us apart is the care we provide for our patients and the supportive environment we have created for our team.
Responsibilities include:

·        Greeting and checking in patients
·        Answering phones and scheduling appointments
·        Performing preliminary testing before the doctor sees patients
·        Teaching patients how to insert and remove contact lenses
·        Processing insurance authorizations and claims
·        Ordering contact lenses and helping with other daily office tasks
Experience in an optometry or ophthalmology office is preferred, and familiarity with OfficeMate is a plus. We are looking for someone who is organized, enjoys working with people, and is willing to be flexible wherever needed.
Half day Saturdays are required. Pay is based on experience.
