Part-Time Supervisor of Operations | Entry-Level Leadership Opportunity with Chick-fil-A Boiling Springs & Spartanburg (Asheville Hwy)

1) Position Summary

The Supervisor of Operations plays a critical leadership role in executing daily restaurant operations with excellence, consistency, and care. This entry-level leadership opportunity is a part-time position responsible for leading shifts, directing the team, protecting food safety and cash controls, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience during every operating period. The Supervisor of Operations serves as a visible, decisive leader ON THE FLOOR who translates vision into action, coaches in real time, and upholds Chick-fil-A standards across people, product, and process.

3) Primary ResponsibilitiesShift Leadership & Operational Execution
  • Lead assigned shifts across front-of-house and back-of-house operations
  • Ensure daily setups and operational checklists are completed to standard
  • Adjust staffing and position placement to meet service and business needs
  • Monitor food safety, cleanliness, and service execution throughout the shift
Team Leadership, Coaching & Development
  • Provide real-time coaching, encouragement, and corrective feedback
  • Develop and support the team through intentional guidance and follow-up
  • Facilitate pre-shift and post-shift huddles that reinforce priorities, standards, and culture
  • Address conflict and performance issues with professionalism, consistency, and care
  • Administer disciplinary actions as appropriate, partnering with Directors when needed
Food Safety, Quality & Customer Experience
  • Support food safety standards and health inspection readiness
  • Reinforce proper food handling, cleanliness, and quality control
  • Lead the team toward achieving customer experience goals
  • Model guest-focused behaviors rooted in excellence, grace, and generosity
Stewardship of Resources & Systems
  • Execute cash management responsibilities including register counts and pickups
  • Manage labor deployment, breaks, and waste systems to support cost goals
  • Input and execute catering orders accurately and on time
Communication & Administrative Support
  • Communicate priorities, results, and updates through huddles and written communication
  • Support daily administrative needs and shift coordination
  • Communicate staffing, scheduling, and training needs to the Director team
  • Participate in needed meetings and store events
4) Success Indicators & Metrics

  • Customer experience goals are consistently achieved
  • Food safety standards are achieved and maintained
  • Labor and food cost goals are supported through disciplined execution
  • Team Members receive consistent coaching and development
  • Conflict and performance issues are addressed promptly and effectively
  • Daily tasks, huddles, and operational priorities are completed with excellence
5) Reporting & Collaboration
  • Reports to: Executive Director of Operations
  • Works closely with Directors, Supervisors, Team Leaders, Team Captains, Certified Trainers and Team Members to ensure seamless operations and leadership alignment
6) Schedule & Availability
  • Flexible scheduling is available; however, schedule will include early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs
  • Role requires flexibility to shift priorities quickly in response to operational demands
