- A bachelor's degree or higher, and
- A current teaching certification in the subject area you are applying for AND be practicing or have two (2) or more years' recent experience in the service role in a public school in the subject area you are applying for
OR serve as, or have recently served as, a college/university/program faculty member who prepares candidates for the subject you are applying for
and MUST NOT be a current Georgia educator/based in the State of Georgia
