Job description

Looking for a fun and flexible part-time job where you can interact with customers and be part of a great team? Utz Quality Foods is hiring a Part-Time Outlet Store Associate at our Factory Outlet Store in Hanover, PA! In this role, you'll provide friendly and helpful customer service, restock and sell our delicious products, and assist in the Mail Order Department as needed. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with purchase transactions and decisions by providing excellent customer service.
  • Prepare the cash register daily. Complete monetary transactions and product returns.
  • Responsible for food Safety in all areas
  • Completes daily tasks to maintain the merchandising of product movement though the day.
  • Merchandising all area of the Retail store from Product, Novelties and Clearance
  • Moving pallets of product around the Warehouse, store and backstock.
  • Labels / stickers product according to promotion
  • Responsible for the overall appearance of the Retail Store.
  • Must be flexible to work up to 28 hours per week. A weekend shift is required.
  • Retail Store hours 9 AM - 6 PM store is open 7 days a week.

Requirements:

  • Requires interpersonal and customer service skills when working in the Retail Store with customers and other associates.
  • Cash handling and register skills.
  • Working with accuracy and paying attention to details.
  • Ability to follow directions to accomplish multiple job tasks at a fast pace.
  • Able to use a pallet jack.
  • Requires the candidate to be 16 years or older.
  • Daily lifting and the ability to move up to 10 pounds and infrequently up to 25 pounds is required.
  • Must be available to work 1 Weekend Day in addition to during the week daytime hours.
