Job description

Company
Rebag, the ultimate destination for buying and selling the most coveted designer handbags and accessories, is an e-commerce company reimagining the role of luxury in the secondary market. Rebag has opened a world of endless access to luxury, with a unique business model that puts the seller first, offers upfront payment, and makes the resale experience smooth and clutter-free.
Since its inception, Rebag has catered to a rapidly growing segment of consumers who are exploring ownership of luxury goods in a sustainable and affordable way. The company operates online and in stores, with locations in Los Angeles, New York and Miami. Founded in 2014 by a team out of Harvard Business School, Rebag is backed by prestigious venture capital investors including General Catalyst, Novator, Crosslink and FJLabs, and has raised $100m in funding to date. In 2020, Rebag was named one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies. Rebag has been featured in the New York Times, Business of Fashion, VOGUE, TechCrunch and more.
The Role's Core Values
As a Livestream Moderator, you'll be the engine running smoothly behind the scenes of our live selling shows on TikTok Shop. While the host is on camera presenting luxury products to a live audience, you're managing the technical and operational side of the broadcast, uploading products into the feed, monitoring comments, troubleshooting issues in real time, and keeping the show on track. This is a detail-oriented, fast-paced role that requires sharp attention and calm under pressure.
What We Expect You to Bring To The Table
  • Manage the technical and operational side of live broadcasts on TikTok Shop, supporting the on-camera host throughout each show.
  • Upload products into the live stream feed in real time, ensuring accurate sequencing and pricing throughout the broadcast.
  • Monitor the live comment section-respond to viewer questions, surface relevant comments for the host, and flag purchase inquiries.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues as they arise (stream quality, product feed errors, connectivity) with minimal disruption to the show.
  • Coordinate product flow and pacing with the host to keep the show engaging and on schedule.
  • Communicate with the host via a back-channel (e.g., chat or notes) to relay audience sentiment and highlight key moments.
  • Assist with pre-show prep: confirm products are listed, priced correctly, and queued in the right order.
  • Coordinate with the E-Commerce team to ensure all items are ready and accessible before the stream begins.
  • Track show performance in real time-monitor viewer counts, engagement signals, and sales activity to inform pacing decisions.
  • Document post-show notes including technical issues, top-performing products, and audience feedback for team review.

What we are requiring for this role:
  • You have a passion for fashion and an interest in luxury brands, you don't need to be an expert, but you should be excited to learn the difference between a Chanel Classic Flap and a Boy Bag.
  • You're highly organized and detail-oriented, managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a live environment is second nature to you.
  • You understand how TikTok works: the culture, the comments, the pacing, and you're a regular user of the platform.
  • You stay calm under pressure and can troubleshoot problems quickly without derailing the show.
  • You're a strong communicator who can relay key information to a host in real time, clearly and concisely.
  • You're a reliable team player who takes pride in being the person everything runs through.
  • Prior experience in live streaming operations, e-commerce coordination, social media management, or broadcast production is a plus but not required.

Additional Detail:
  • Location: On-site in New York City (studio environment).
  • Schedule: Full-time and part-time positions available. Live shows run Monday-Friday 8am-8pm and Saturday/Sunday 10am-8pm; candidates need broad availability across these windows.
  • Live Show operates in New York City primarily in Brooklyn (Industry City) as well as Manhattan Financial District (World Trade Center).
  • Compensation: $22-$25/hour (plus bonus)
