Work Environment
- Most work is performed in heated and air conditioned surroundings. Will use eyewear, gloves, masks/face shields, must be worn according to UHSH Infection Control and CDC Blood and Body Fluids Policies and Procedures. Standing, walking, bending, reaching and lifting up to 25 pounds.

- All – Access to patient information, including restricted information – Level 4.
Sign-on Incentive:
Candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000.
Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
- Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory technology or equivalent. (Grandfathered NYS Licensed CLT).
Preferred:
- One (1) year experience working in a clinical laboratory.
License/Certification
Minimum Required:
- NYS Licensed Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
Preferred:
- ASCP Specialty Certification.
In the Laboratory, under limited supervision, performs routine and specialized tests in assigned laboratory sections in a timely manner, monitors lab processes, and verifies results. With six (6) years’ experience, may in the absence of the supervisor, direct daily activities of his/her section according to UHS Hospitals’, Laboratory and Departmental Policies and Procedures, NYSDOH, CDC, and UHSH Infection Control Policies and Procedures.
