Job Summary
The School of Nursing and Health Science seeks dynamic radiographer to teach in the role of a laboratory/simulation instructional assistant. This person would provide teaching and evaluations for radiologic sciences students in laboratory and simulated settings.
Responsibilities
1 -
Supervises laboratory and simulation practice experiences.
2 -
Evaluates student laboratory and simulation performance and achievement of required competencies.
3 -
Adhere to the School of Nursing and Health Sciences and the Department of Radiologic Sciences guidelines/protocols/policies.
4 -
Attendance at scheduled Department meetings as needed.
5 -
Assist in teaching didactic classroom content if needed.
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences.
Other Required Qualifications
-Must maintain current immunizations and other health requirements as required by the clinical affiliates and the College.
-Must maintain current ARRT registration throughout employment.
-Must maintain current BLS certification throughout employment.
-Must possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license and be eligible to operate a College vehicle in accordance with College and University System of Georgia Motor Vehicle Use policies.
Required Experience
Experience working as a radiographer.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Educational Qualifications
-Baccalaureate degree.
-Additional modality credentialing.
Proposed Salary
$35.00 per hour with Associate degree.
$40.00 per hour with Baccalaureate degree.
$45.00 per hour with Masters degree.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
ABILITIES
-Ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of students.
SKILLS
-Excellent oral and communication skills.
