Job Summary
The position of the part-time clinical instructor is a non-tenure track faculty position in the undergraduate program in the School of Nursing within the College of Education and Health Professions.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include: clinical teaching in undergraduate nursing courses, face-to-face and online; mentoring students; working collaboratively within area clinical and hospital staff; performing service and administrative tasks necessary to ensure excellence in nursing education at Columbus State University; and contributing to scholarly activity in the field through scholarship, presentations and publications.
Required Qualifications
A Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university, an active, unencumbered RN license in Georgia or eligibility for licensure in Georgia are required. At least two years of quality clinical nursing experience in a medical-surgical or specialty environment and previous college level teaching in nursing, and an understanding of technology as a tool for effective teaching are preferred.
Preference will be given to candidates who have evidence of successful teaching at the college level in both traditional and online environments.

Salary Information:
BSN Degree: $41.67 per hour
MSN Degree: $44.44 per hour
PhD Degree: $50.00 per hour
