Financial Education Instructor information

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Financial Education Instructor, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Financial Education Instructor, you need a solid background in finance, personal financial management, and adult education, often demonstrated by a degree in finance, education, or a related field. Familiarity with financial planning software, presentation tools like PowerPoint, and certifications such as Certified Financial Educator (CFEd) are commonly required. Exceptional communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills help instructors engage diverse audiences and adapt content for different learning needs. These skills ensure that financial concepts are conveyed clearly and effectively, empowering learners to make informed financial decisions.

How does a Financial Education Instructor typically collaborate with community organizations or schools to deliver financial literacy programs?

Financial Education Instructors often partner closely with local schools, nonprofits, and community organizations to tailor financial literacy programs to the unique needs of each audience. This collaboration may involve co-developing curriculum, scheduling workshops, and adapting teaching methods for diverse groups. Instructors frequently work as part of multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with counselors, teachers, or program managers to ensure sessions are engaging and relevant. Building these relationships not only amplifies the impact of their work but also expands opportunities for future program delivery and career advancement.

Job description

Enrollment Specialist

Financial Education Sales

Compensation: $90,000โ€“$120,000+ annually (guarantee + uncapped commission)

Job Type: Full-time | Benefits Included

Location: (Onsite) Atlanta - Trading Academy

The Opportunity

You're a proven closer. You don't need leads โ€” but you'd rather have them qualified and walking in the door. At Trading Academy, they are.

We're hiring an Enrollment Specialist to work exclusively with warm, event-generated prospects who've already raised their hand. Your job is to guide serious adults through an informed enrollment decision โ€” no cold calls, no hunting, no chasing.

If you've spent years converting high-intent buyers in financial services, education, real estate, or premium B2C โ€” and you're looking for a role where a strong process produces strong results โ€” this role was built for you.

What You'll Do

  • Run structured, consultative enrollment conversations with prospects who attend live Trading Academy events

  • Identify individual goals and recommend the right education pathway

  • Close enrolled students with integrity โ€” this is a relationship, not a transaction.

  • Manage pipeline and follow-up activity in Salesforce CRM

  • Partner with instructors and operations to deliver a seamless student experience

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years B2C sales experience โ€” high-ticket, intangible, or consultative sales strongly preferred

  • Proven track record closing warm, inbound, or event-generated leads

  • Strong listening skills and the ability to build trust quickly in a single conversation

  • Coachable โ€” you take feedback, run the process, and refine your approach

  • CRM proficiency

Compensation & Benefits

  • $90,000โ€“$150,000+ earning potential โ€” guarantee plus uncapped commission

  • All leads provided โ€” warm prospects from live and virtual events

  • Full Benefits; Medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • 401(k) with company match

  • Ongoing sales training and professional development

Schedule

Full-time, onsite. Three weekends per month required โ€” this is event-driven work, and that's where the pipeline is built.
