Events & Experiences Assistant - Part time (Nights & Weekends)

Campbell County Library is currently seeking a part-time Events & Experiences Assistant. This is a part-time position (10 hrs/week) for nights and weekends.

This position will serve the Rustburg, Timberlake and Altavista areas of the county.

Duties:

• Provide storytimes and other children’s programming in Campbell County parks and libraries, area daycares, preschools, etc.;

• Create Pop Up Library experiences in various areas of Campbell County;

• Attend community events with a contact table or Pop Up Library (ex. Fall festivals, VBS, Saturday and Sunday festivals, Farmer’s Markets etc);

• Provide outreach to area churches and businesses;

• Partnering with area organizations to provide library services, as appropriate;

• Assist with preparation and execution of large scale events in or outside of Campbell County parks and libraries (such as the annual Halloween event or Santa night);

• Being a brand ambassador for Campbell County to stakeholders.
